CancerPath is a research-led digital health platform designed to improve cancer awareness, increase screening engagement, reduce health inequalities, and support earlier diagnosis.
Too many people are diagnosed with cancer at a late stage — not because earlier diagnosis was impossible, but because the path from noticing a symptom to seeking help is filled with uncertainty, barriers and delay.
CancerPath exists to change that. By combining behavioural science, public health research and digital innovation, we help people recognise symptoms sooner, engage with screening programmes and take confident steps towards professional support.
Our platform is designed with health equity at its core — ensuring that the people who face the greatest barriers to care are the ones we work hardest to reach.
Every feature of CancerPath is grounded in peer-reviewed research and clinical evidence.
Built to reach underserved communities and reduce inequalities in cancer awareness and access.
Designed to complement and strengthen existing NHS cancer strategies and screening programmes.
Transparent, accurate information that empowers people without causing unnecessary anxiety.
CancerPath has been developed using doctoral research focused on cancer help-seeking behaviour, health inequalities and earlier diagnosis. Our approach is grounded in established academic and clinical evidence.
Research into why people delay seeking help and what interventions can reduce appraisal, illness and help-seeking intervals.
Understanding how socioeconomic, cultural and structural factors affect cancer awareness and screening participation.
Evidence-based approaches to shifting the stage at which cancers are diagnosed through improved awareness and engagement.
Applying digital tools and behaviour change theory to support sustainable improvements in cancer outcomes.

Founder, CancerPath
Dr Ogechi Anokwuru developed CancerPath following doctoral research into cancer help-seeking behaviour, health inequalities and earlier diagnosis.
Her work focuses on understanding why people delay seeking help and how evidence-based digital interventions can improve cancer awareness, increase screening engagement, and support better health outcomes — particularly for communities that face the greatest barriers.
Work With UsCancerPath draws on a wide body of evidence spanning clinical guidelines, public health research and digital health innovation literature.
Our development process has been guided by established frameworks for cancer awareness, behaviour change and health equity — ensuring the platform is both clinically credible and practically effective.
We welcome collaboration with NHS organisations, researchers, public health teams and innovation partners committed to improving cancer outcomes.
